Greydon Ratushny

Greydon Ratushny is a career firefighter and paramedic in the Metro Vancouver area. Prior to working in one the largest cities in Western Canada, Greydon was a paid on call firefighter in a rural Sea to Sky community. Greydon has delivered fire service and pre-hospital care training to organizations domestic and abroad. Combined with his in depth work experience, Greydon is able to truly understand the needs of his learners. In his spare time he continues to give back providing training and mentorship to scouting and other volunteer organizations.

Indy Aujala

Indy Aujala is an active ambulance paramedic in British Columbia. Indy has worked across Canada in metropolitan and rural-remote settings both on ground and air ambulance. His experience goes beyond the ambulance setting into the energy sector and mining, working in remote locations across Northern Canada. In his spare time Indy enjoys event and mass gathering medicine at festivals, raves, and concerts. Indy is experienced emergency management, event planning, and event medical operations. Together, Indy and Greydon have provided leadership to emergency service teams at scout jamborees. Both are dedicated to providing a safe experience to all participants.

derek Stein

Derek is a dedicated ambulance paramedic who loves the outdoors and animals. Growing up in Kitimat, Derek went on to serve the communities around the northwest. Derek also served his colleagues as a safety officer, looking out for the health and wellness of others. Derek has moved on to advance his career and now works in the Greater Vancouver area. Outside of emergency medicine, Derek has volunteered with local emergency social services and coast guard auxiliary marine search and rescue. Derek’s passion for the outdoors fuels his interest in wilderness and remote medicine. When not working, he explores the wilderness of British Columbia.
